Tom Grotta is a Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer for InflectionPointMedia.com the next generation vertical audience network focused on the B2B marketplace.

Mr. Grotta came to InlfectionPointMedia.com from TBML Partners and TBML Capital, a company he founded that acquired two under-performing small businesses, Stamford Therapeutics Consortium and Clinical Research Consulting. Over the course of three years, he achieved significant revenue, profit and market share growth, and divested the ventures for substantial shareholder earnings. He continues to maintain a minority interest in the business.

In 2003, Mr. Grotta transitioned out of Corporate America to leverage his business and marketing acumen to give something back and was appointed the Executive Director of the Greater New York Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In addition to developing new funding sources for the foundation, he also began exploring the realm of private investment and company portfolio management.

In 1997, as the Internet and technology companies emerged, Mr. Grotta joined Prodigy and then FloNetwork/DoubleClick where he negotiated first-ever strategic partnerships and signed lucrative deals with Fortune 500 corporations. As the Vice President of Sales for DoubleClick, Mr. Grotta managed the $50 million publisher division for various products such as DART for publishers. He parlayed his business development experience into corporate development roles supporting IPO (Prodigy), M&A and market diversification and business transformation initiatives.

Prior to that, Mr. Grotta held various positions with Phoenix Integrated, Inc. a consumer products brand licensing/marketing company and for Cendant, a leading direct marketing/financial services company.

Mr. Grotta is the Co-chairman of the Board of Directors for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundations Greater New York Chapter and recently joined the Board of Advisors for Powered by Professionals and is a member of the Association of Corporate Growth.

Mr. Grotta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Vermont and lives in Armonk, NY, with his wife and two children.
